Beat Maker Software – At Your Fingertips
You have no idea how close you are to finding beat maker software that can either get you jump started or take your current abilities to new levels.
You are on the Internet, my friend, and this is the place to find all kinds of good stuff to help you make beats.
What are you making beats for? That is the first question you must ask yourself.
Do you need some tracks to rap along with? Are you trying to work on you verbal skills? Sometimes you just need a good quick beat to rap over, why not make it yourself?
Or maybe you want to make instrumentals. You simply just want to commandeer some beats so that you can add samples and vinyl effects. Why not be able to make those beats yourself?
Those are two pretty good scenarios.
So why do I say that beat maker software is right at your fingertips? You can buy and download software from a few different places right now, easily, online if you want to. You can also easily place orders to have boxed software shipped to your doorstep a few days later.
So, the first thing you must do is figure out what type of software you really need.
A Quick Fix
The quickest thing you could do is get Sonic Producer, an online beat maker that you can use to make beats and export to mp3.
It’s an affordable way to get into making beats and try your craft, and you can practically be making beats in minutes. They have a bunch of sounds and stuff that you can choose from too which is great.
Get a Little More Serious
If you want to try something that is a little more advanced, and drop a bigger load of cash, you could invest in some more full featured sequencing software such as Propellerhead Reason.
This is a pretty solid option for sequencing all sorts of instrumental beats with drum machines, synths, samplers and effects. It is possible to do some pretty complex arrangements with this option.
Hardware?
If you want to go all out, you can go for some hardware drum machines or sequencer/samplers. What’s a good example of what I’m talking about here? The MPC. This is a classic beat making machine is actually more software than hardware. It’s basically a drumming computer in a box.
I just had to throw that out there. I’m always such a proponent of the fact that so much hardware these days is actually mostly software inside.
But seriously, what is your computer other than a piece of hardware running some software? That’s all an MPC is.
You Can’t Go Wrong Either Way
If you already have a computer, though, you have a major advantage compared to somebody who wants to get into making beats and doesn’t even have a computer.
You already have the hardware, and just need to invest a little bit more money to find some good software to run on it.
Once you have a good beat production application installed on your computer it will be a very powerful production machine. I have laptops that I refer to as “drum machines” because that’s basically all they are used for. It’s awesome.
